Goal and Objective:

To provide emergency education thus maintaining the right to education for the earthquake affected children of Bissian.

Project description

Two emergency schools were established at Bissian Army Camp, Balakot supported by 8 teachers. The schools ensured continuation of education to hundreds of children affected by the devastating earthquake of October 2005. The programme also supported the repair and rehabilitation of two camp schools in Hajiabad and Sheikhabad. The program directly benefited 353 students and 10 teachers.
