Goal:

Female councilors play an equal and active role as their male colleagues as community leaders and representatives

Objective:

•  Female councilors actively utilize their knowledge about their rights, obligations and responsibilities as community representatives at council level.

•  Female councilors address the needs and requirements of their constituencies

•  Sensitize Nazims and Naib nazims in the process to ensure their support towards the female councilors.

•  Project description (length = about 150 words)

This program has undertaken the training of 752 female councillors and litercay courses for 526 illiterate female councillors. The program is being implemented in three districts namely Abbottabad, Mardan and Chakwal.
