BEFARe holds seminar on the roles and responsibilities of LEAs on the issue of HS&T

A seminar was organized on 12th of April 2010 by BEFARe in collaboration with NARA (National Alien Registration Authority) on "Roles and responsibilities of Law Enforcement Agencies to curb Illegal migration in Pakistan”. The Chief Guest on the occassion was Mr. Nisar Khoro (Speaker Sindh Assembly) including the guest speaker Mr. Zafar Ahmed Farooqui (Additional Inspector General Police), Mr. Ghulam Ashgar Jatoi (Assistant Director FIA) and the other guest speakers including Prof. Fateh Burfat (Sociology & Criminology Department Karachi University).The purpose of the seminar was to enlighten the Law Enforcement agencies to understand the gravity of illegal migration in Pakistan so the issue could be dealt more effectively.A large number of high officials from Law enforcement agencies, students, teachers from different departments of Karachi University, Media, Resource persons and others attended the seminar.
