Project description
The program provided training to 852 female councilors of three districts in relevant subject pertaining to their rights, responsibilities etc. The program also enabled 425 female councilors to become literate.
Objective:
- Female councilors actively utilize their knowledge about their rights, obligations and responsibilities as community representatives at council level.
- Female councilors address the needs and requirements of their constituencies
- Sensitize Nazims and Naib nazims in the process to ensure their support towards the female councilors.
