Project description
This program has undertaken the training of 752 female councilors and literacy courses for 526 illiterate female councilors. The program is being implemented in three districts namely Abbottabad, Mardan and Chakwal.
Objective:
- Female councilors actively utilize their knowledge about their rights, obligations and responsibilities as community representatives at council level.
- Female councilors address the needs and requirements of their constituencies
- Sensitize Nazims and Naib nazims in the process to ensure their support towards the female councilors.
